Phitsanulok Launches Innovation Entrepreneur Platform to Drive a Smart & Creative City
In Collaboration with GEN Thailand – Naresuan University – Phitsanulok Municipality during GEW 2025

Phitsanulok Province, together with Naresuan University, Phitsanulok Municipality, and GEN Thailand, launched the “Innovation Entrepreneur Development” initiative to move the city toward a Smart & Creative future. The program, held at the Phitsanulok Municipal Library, was opened by Mr. Boonlua Baramee, Vice Governor of Phitsanulok.
“A beginning of a future-ready city.”
The Vice Governor highlighted that the collaboration between the municipality and Naresuan University strengthens efforts to integrate knowledge, technology, and innovation into local development—signalling Phitsanulok’s readiness to grow into an innovative and creative city.

A Three-Pillar Partnership
GEN Thailand connected local entrepreneurs with global networks, featuring a keynote by Srifa Bakery CEO Mr. Peerawat Jentrakulroj.
Naresuan University showcased NU Seed entrepreneurs and their research-driven products.
Phitsanulok Municipality supported the city’s Smart & Creative City vision by enabling space, participation, and community engagement.
Club Tiger curated youth-focused leadership and creativity activities to inspire emerging entrepreneurs.

Part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025
The event highlighted Phitsanulok’s rising role as a regional hub for innovation and the creative economy, aligning with Thailand’s GEW activities.

Highlights & Outcomes
Over 150 participants gained insights into innovation, smart city development, and “Local to Global” business growth. Attendees expressed strong interest in expanding the program in the future.

This collaboration marks a firm step toward building a Smart & Creative City driven by entrepreneurs, youth, and community partnerships—grounded in a shared vision for sustainable and future-ready development.
